"Newspapers everywhere are navigating changes of historic dimensions. We're rebuilding business models, coverage models and delivery models – often at the same time. Publishers and news executives who want to succeed need a blend of talent, determination, courage – and each other. That's why SNPA is so critical to CNHI newspapers.
"There are many things we do collectively through SNPA that none of us can accomplish as effectively on our own. We create forums to talk with one another about our successes, share ideas to grow audience and revenue, and speak candidly about our disappointments. We seek solutions and speak in one voice about important issues.
"Above all, SNPA delivers an important message to the public. It's a message about the vitality of newspapers and our local news products as unmatched sources of information and vehicles for advertising. Newspapers are good for our communities. They're good for democracy. Through SNPA, we ensure that advertisers, readers, public officials and communities hear their story."

"As with many tools or memberships, one gets the most value when used regularly. That's the way I view my SNPA membership. Good things don't just happen ... however, if you attend the meetings, stay abreast of the goings on via the newsletter, interact with fellow partners and members and give where you can, you'll certainly get more value than you ever expected. That value will manifest itself in myriad ways, including financially. The cost of an SNPA membership is quickly returned many times over."
